Fresh in from Japan we have this stunning 1984 Yamaha RZV500R YPVS. The RZV500R differed from the RD/RZ500LC featuring a hand welded aluminium chassis, Aluminium handlebars, Adjustable front forks with air assistance and a fuel gauge resulting in a machine that was nearly 10kg lighter that the more common steel framed version. This higher specification machine was only offered in Japan and the total number built was reportedly only 1900 units. This model was restricted in the carburettor jetting and an internal sleeve in the exhausts. We remove this sleeve and re-jet to UK specification before sale. This example has only covered 15,197km or around 9,498 miles. She starts, runs and rides without issue and is offered registered on an age related plate with a full service including all fluids, battery and tyres. This very original bike is all complete except for a front master cylinder upgrade and the seat hump pad though we are in the process of having copies made. There are the odd age related marks but otherwise a very nice example of these hard to find machines.
A rare machine that was only offered in the Japanese market and turns heads everywhere.
