Fresh in from Japan we have this super collectible Ducati 749R. Number 743 of the first edition bikes, fitted with the carbon fibre fairings. This 2004 model is supplied with a full service including genuine Ducati belts and filters. New tyres along with a new battery will also be fitted and the bike comes registered on an age related plate with a years Mot and 12 month warranty.
The 749R was a simply stunning machine designed to race in World Super Sport. Like its bigger 999R brother the 749R engine is very special with a true 749cc and developed specifically for racing. Larger titanium valves, shorter stroke and larger bore size than is sibling 749S enable this bike to rev higher, producing 121hp at 10,500rpm. The chassis also benefits from fully adjustable Öhlin’s suspension with the rear shock having a shorter stroke and heavier spring. Fitted with a Slipper clutch as standard with Magnesium and Carbon fibre engine covers.
This example has only covered 9,870 miles and I have previous, “Shaken”, Mot history showing that on the 8-12-2006 the mileage was 9,300km or around 5,812 and on the 24-6-2009 the mileage was 11,800km or around 7,375 miles. She comes with all the handbooks, 3 keys inc Red key and code card. Original toolkit is included. The bike benefits from a gorgeous race silencer and De Light titanium rear number plate holder.
